Tonight we went to a rooftop happening place in the heart of the city 5th avenue and 26th street. If you are ready to shell out some money there is a bottle service available for the tables otherwise you will stand through the night. I have to say that the place is quite nice with two floors, top actually being the roof and one below it that looked comfy to chill in. It is a bit overcrowded to my taste but definitely worthy checking if you want to have a drink in the city.
Just to answer the comment below: I won’t call it a dining place, although with the bottle service you do get a table. From what I could gather from the passing by waitresses, it is more of a drinking place where you could grab appetizers, but I won’t bet on it being a full blown dinner place. And as far as a comeback – I have heard that there are three places around the city with a rooftop accommodations and this one is the biggest.
One other thing that may come handy when planning your outing to this place. At the door there is a sign “dress up not down” and they mean it, I saw some customers not being let in due to the fact that they were not dressed up (flip flops on your feet are definitely no go for both men and women). So do dress up, I hardly saw any ladies in jeans, most of them were in dresses, but if you do wear jeans (which I did) dress it up with major shoes and a top.
